2023 NV YR Grand Sessions

Nevada York Rite Annual Grand Session 2023

Most Excellent Companion Craig Phillips, Grand High Priest, Most Illustrious Companion Robert Peterson, Grand Master of Cryptic Masons and Sir Knight Thom Collins, Grand Commander of Nevada, invite you to attend the 2023 Grand Sessions on June 11, 12, & 13, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Grand Sessions will be held at The Orleans for three days of fun, food, and fellowship, and yes, a little business to be taken care of as well.

On Sunday, June 11, 2023:

The Sessions will get underway with our Annual Memorial Service at 5:30 P. M. and then adjourn to the Grand Banquet for no host cocktails. Dinner will be served at 7:00 P. M. At the Grand Banquet we will informally welcome our special guests to our Grand Sessions, present some awards and have a few words of welcome.

Following the Banquet, the Order of High Priest Hood Degree will be conferred at 9:00 P. M.

On Monday, June 12, 2023:

We begin at 8:00 A. M. with the opening of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Nevada to conduct business, elect and install officers. A Mexican Buffet lunch will be served after the installation of officers. Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of Nevada business meeting, election, and installation will start at 1:30 p.m. The evening will feature a Fellowship Dinner in support of R.A.R.A. No host cocktails at 6:00 P. M., dinner at 7:00 P. M.

On Tuesday, June 13, 2023:

The Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Nevada will convene for business, election, and Installation at 8:00 A. M. The Grand Sessions will conclude at Noon as everyone prepares to depart.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

The Orleans is located at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas.

Reservations must be made directly with The Orleans by calling their toll-free number (800) 675-3267 and identifying yourselves as members of a group with Reservation ID. YORF23C or use the hotel website at www.OrleansCasino.com/Group. Room rates are $106.00 Friday and Saturday, June 9 & 10, 2023, $54.00 Sunday, June 11 through Tuesday June 13, 2023. Everyone is required to provide a credit card and one night’s room and tax deposit. Attendees must use reference reservation identification code (YORF23C) when making reservations to receive the group rate. Room Block Cut Off Date is Thursday, May 10, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. Rooms after that date and time will be subject to availability and charged at the prevailing rate.

All functions of the Grand York Rite Sessions will be in the hotel convention center.

Order of the High Priest Hood:

Cost for the degree is $25 and is open to any Past High Priest or High Priest. Registration forms for the degree will be available at the registration desk. Please indicate on the bottom of the registration form if you intend to take this degree.

BANQUET AND FELLOWSHIP DINNER:

The Banquet on Sunday evening will begin with no host social hour immediately after the Memorial Service with dinner served at 7:00 P. M. The Attire for the Banquet is either Chapter Red, Council Purple, or KT Class As.

Dinner on Monday evening is a benefit for R.A.R.A. with the no-host social hour from 6 to 7 P. M. and dinner served at 7:00 P. M. Please support this charity event as Grand Chapter is the host body for this year’s Grand Sessions. Attire is casual and comfortable!

ONE PRICE POLICY:

Being a small jurisdiction, we can only offer complimentary Banquet tickets to our visiting dignitaries.

Therefore, we are implementing a one price policy for our Grand Sessions.

General Grands, or their personal credentialed representative, and their wives will each be charged $130.00. Southwest Department Representatives, and their wives, and Grand Presiding Officers from other jurisdictions, and their wives, (not their representatives) will each be charged $130.00.

All others, and their wives, will pay $200.00 (For further detail, please see our Comp Policy.)

REGISTRATION:

Please fill out and print the attached Registration Form. Please include all information requested and payment in full must accompany your registration. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Registration deadline - June 2, 2023. Reservation’s post marked after the deadline date will not be accepted! We must confirm meal counts with the hotel on that date. No meals can be ordered after the cutoff date. NO EXCEPTIONS. So please, make your reservations early!

Sign-in and Credentials verification in the Convention Center will open at Noon on Sunday, June 11 and remain open until 5:00 P.M. Secondary sign-in will open on Monday morning at 7:00 A. M. and remain open until 1:00 P. M.
